A metal structure is a building or facility whose load-bearing frame is assembled from steel beams, columns, trusses and connections. Unlike a reinforced concrete or brick building, a metal structure is built two to three times faster, does not require a heavy foundation and can be expanded without stopping operation. Assembly of metal structures is simple: all parts are marked, which greatly facilitates installation. Joining structural elements together does not require much time or complex equipment. How We Design
We specialise in manufacturing metal structures to client drawings. You can contact us even when your project is not yet finalised. We have our own design office staffed by qualified and experienced engineers. They can offer a standard solution that fully meets all your requirements. If a standard approach is insufficient, we develop an individual project taking into account all the client's parameters. During design, our engineers calculate loads from the self weight of the structures, live loads from people and equipment, and wind load according to the Dubai wind map. Each project includes dimensioned drawings of all elements, a specification and an assembly diagram. All calculations are performed using licensed software.
How Fabrication Works
Fabrication begins with metal cutting. Sheet metal, I-beams, channels or tubes are cut to the dimensions shown on the drawing using band saws or CNC plasma cutters. Length tolerance is plus or minus one millimetre. Then part preparation is carried out: holes for bolted connections are drilled in beam ends, edges are milled for welding, and profiles are bent on a pipe bending machine. Next, the parts are assembled on an assembly jig in the design position and welded using a semi automatic welder in a carbon dioxide atmosphere. Every weld undergoes visual inspection for cracks, porosity and lack of fusion. On load bearing joints, selective ultrasonic inspection is performed. The finished structure is checked for geometry: lengths, widths, diagonals and right angles. If there is a deviation beyond the tolerance, the product is straightened on a press table or sent for rework.
Corrosion Protection
After welding and inspection, the structure undergoes sandblasting. This removes mill scale, rust and weld marks. Then primer is applied in one or two layers. The finishing coat is powder coating or liquid enamel according to the client's choice. For outdoor structures, resistance to ultraviolet radiation and temperature variations is mandatory. For indoor structures, primer and one coat of paint is sufficient. If the structure will operate in an aggressive environment or in a high humidity zone, we offer hot dip galvanising.
Installation of Metal Structures
We offer the services of professional installers with extensive experience in assembling metal structures on a wide variety of projects. Installation begins with acceptance of the foundation and inspection of embedded parts. Then the columns are installed using a crane. Columns are aligned vertically and fixed. After the columns, beams, trusses and bracing are installed. All bolted connections are checked for tightening torque. Welds made on site undergo visual inspection. After frame assembly is complete, a walk test is performed. We can carry out either a full turnkey installation or provide supervision, where our specialist visits the site to check the correctness of assembly by the client's own team.
Working to Client Drawings
Our company specialises in manufacturing steel structures to client drawings. You send drawings in DXF, PDF or STEP format. Our engineers check them for manufacturability, compliance with standards and the feasibility of production on our equipment. If there are errors or inaccuracies in the drawings, we inform you before production begins. Once approved, we manufacture the structure exactly to your dimensions with the tolerances specified in the drawing. You do not pay for design, only for fabrication, quality control and delivery.
Transparent Pricing
In forming the final price, we strive for maximum transparency. Metal structures are not cheap, so the client has the right to understand exactly what they are paying for. The price is determined by the weight of the finished structure, the complexity of the joints, the volume of welding work and the type of anti-corrosion coating. We provide a detailed cost breakdown for each stage. If the client has any questions about pricing after the cost calculation, our staff are always ready to answer them. Minimum order is five hundred kilograms of finished structures. Fabrication time starts from five working days. Delivery across Dubai is included in the price for orders of three tonnes or more.
